Wow Friend of the Clintons

Wow ! I had forgotten about all of these accidents!!!

If Hillary gets elected, do you think they will put all the furniture
they stole back in the White House??? Food for Thought:
Just a quick refresher course lest we forget what has happened to many "friends" of the Clintons .

1- James McDougal - Clinton's convicted Whitewater partner died of an apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr's investigation.

2 - Mary Mahoney - A former White House intern was murdered July 1997 at a Starbucks Coffee Shop in Georgetown. The murder happened just after she was to go public with her story of sexual harassment in the White House.

3- Vince Foster - Former White House councilor, and colleague of Hillary Clinton at Little Rock's Rose Law firm. Died of a gunshot wound to the head, ruled a suicide.

4- Ron Brown - Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman. Reported to have died by impact in a plane crash. A pathologist close to the investigation reported that there was a hole in the top of Brown's skull resembling a gunshot wound. At the time of his death Brown was being investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness to cut a deal with prosecutors. The rest of the people on the plane also died. A few days later the air Traffic controller commited suicide.

5- C. Victor Raiser II- Raiser, a major player in the Clinton fund raising organization died in a private plane crash in July 1992.

6- Paul Tulley - Democratic National Committee Political Director found dead in a hotel room in Little Rock, September 1992. Described by Clinton as a "Dear friend and trusted advisor".

7- Ed Willey - Clinton fund raiser, found dead November 1993 deep in the woods in VA of a gunshot wound to the head. Ruled a suicide. Ed Willey died on the same day his wife Kathleen Willey claimed Bill Clinton groped her in the oval office in the White House. Ed Willey was involved in several Clinton fund raising events.

8- Jerry Parks -Head of Clinton's gubernatorial security team in Little Rock. Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside Little Rock. Park's son said his father was building a dossier on Clinton. He allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his house.

9- James Bunch - Died from a gunshot suicide. It was reported that he had a "Black Book" of people which contained names of influential people who visited prostitutes in Texas and Arkansas.

10- James Wilson - Was found dead in May 1993 from an apparent hanging suicide. He was reported to have ties to Whitewater.

11- Kathy Ferguson- Ex-wife of Arkansas Trooper Danny Ferguson, was found dead in May 1994, in her living room with a gunshot to her head. It was ruled a suicide even though there were several packed suitcases, as if
she were going somewhere. Danny Ferguson was a co-defendant along with Bill Clinton in the Paula Jones lawsuit. Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones.

12- Bill Shelton - Arkansas State Trooper and fiancee of Kathy Ferguson. Critical of the suicide ruling of his fiancee, he was found dead in June, 1994 of a gunshot wound also ruled a suicide at the grave site of his fiancée.

THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELL PHONE COULD DO

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your
mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival.
Check out the things that you can do with it:

FIRST
Subject: Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of
the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112
and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency
number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the
keypad is locked. Try it out.

SECOND
Subject: Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good
reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare
keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone.
Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at
your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their
end. Most of the time your car will unlock, this saves someone from having to drive your keys to
you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can
reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the
doors (or the trunk).

THIRD
Subject: Hidden Battery Power
Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370#
Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50%
increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next
time.

FOURTH
How to disable a STOLEN or lost mobile phone.
To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on
your phone: * # 0 6 #
A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your
handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone gets stolen or
lost, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will
then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card,
your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but
at least you know that whoever stole it or finds it can't use/sell it either.
If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile
phones.

And Finally....

FIFTH
Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411
information calls when they don't have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone
directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem. When you
need to use the 411 information option, simply dial: (800) FREE 411, or (800)
373-3411 without incurring any charge at all. Program this into your cell
phone now.

Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

A lady wrote the best letter in the editorials in ages!!! It explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV.

Her point: Recently large de! monstrat ions have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.
Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.

Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house.
Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I! leave.
But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors.
I've done all the things you don't like to do.
I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).
According to the protesters:
You are Required to let me stay in your house
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house. And what a deal it is for me!!! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so you can communicate with me.

Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! Only in America .if you agree, pass it on (in English). Share it if you see the value of it.

If not blow it off......... along with your future Social Security funds, and a lot of other things.

Slavery in America. Lawmakers still misses the point. It was Not Just Blacks.

Lawmaker Under Fire for Slavery Comment
By BOB LEWIS
AP
Talk About It: Post Thoughts
Del. Frank D. Hargrove, 79, made his remarks in opposition to a measure that would apologize on the state's behalf to the descendants of slaves.

RICHMOND, Va. (Jan. 16) - A state legislator said black people "should get over" slavery and questioned whether Jews should apologize "for killing Christ," drawing denunciations Tuesday from stunned colleagues.
Steve Helber, AP

Virginia state Del. Frank Hargrove, right, defends saying that black people "should get over" slavery, in response to a measure that would apologize to slave descendants on behalf of the state. "Are we going to force the Jews to apologize for killing Christ?" he asked. In an interview published Tuesday in The Daily Progress of Charlottesville, Hargrove said slavery ended nearly 140 years ago with the Civil War and added that "our black citizens should get over it." The newspaper also quoted him as saying, "are we going to force the Jews to apologize for killing Christ?"
"When somebody tells me I should just get over slavery, I can only express my emotion by projecting that I am appalled, absolutely appalled," said Del. Dwight C. Jones, head of the Legislative Black Caucus.

Del. David L. Englin also criticized Hargrove's remarks, recalling that his grandparents were driven from their homes in Poland "by people who believed that as Jews, we killed Christ."

When Hargrove rose to speak, he told Englin he didn't care about Englin's religion. "I think your skin was a little too thin," Hargrove said as lawmakers gasped and groaned.

Immigration Laws

Immigration: House field hearings continue to be held and the Agricultural Coalition for Immigration Reform (ACIR) is working hard to get an ag witness at every hearing – but as reported at last week’s board meeting, the request for ag testimony is not always granted. Senator Hutchison (R-TX) and Rep. Pence (R-IN) announced this week they will jointly introduce an immigration reform bill that is a compromise between the current House and Senate-passed versions. It creates a guestworker program (not specific to ag) after the President certifies to Congress that U.S. border security is enhanced. Illegal immigrants would be pressured to “self-deport” to their home countries within two years of the law’s enactment and apply for a new kind of visa to allow them to return to the U.S. and work. They would have to work in the U.S. for 17 years to be eligible for citizenship. The proposal is a mixed bag, according to ACIR, but it may inject new energy into the broader dynamic.

MOHICAN RESURFACES – VACATIONERS FLOOD BACK

Loudonville, Ohio – July 26, 2006 – Family-fun in Mohican Country rebounds after flood!
“Not only are vacationers returning in droves, but many first-time visitors are showing up as well,” said Jerrilynn Leckrone, Executive Director of Loudonville Mohican Chamber of Commerce and Mohican Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. “I remember seeing all over the news, the unfortunate results of the flooding in Mohican, Linda Lindner said. “But I also saw so many new things I didn’t remember being in Mohican. In a bizarre way, it led me back to Mohican Country.” And so it goes that vacationers across Ohio and the Midwest are finding more in Mohican after the flood than before. Long considered the Canoeing Capitol of Ohio, if not the Midwest, there’s a whole new world of fun in Mohican Country. Landoll’s Castle serves up fine dining and luxurious lodging. Other recreation attractions include a historic grist mill, golf, horseback riding, putt-putt, go-carts, water slides and pools, Amish community, scenic byways and shopping at one-of-a-kind mom-and-pop shops in charming downtown Loudonville. The main street is lined with historic buildings and Victorian architecture. Throughout the year, it is abuzz with festive folks swarming to the imaginative special events – some of which are nationally acclaimed. Of course, there’s also the river and natural paradise for which these rolling hills of Appalachia Ohio are best known! And it has always embraced naturalists, birders, RV enthusiasts, camping, swimming, hiking, fishing, hunting, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, boating…whew! I hope nothing was left out. Oh yah, in addition to Mohican State Park Resort and Conference Center, there’s Malabar Farm State Park. Malabar Farm is the former home of Pulitzer Prize winning author – Louis Bromfield – who had all 30 of his novels make the best-seller list. Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall were married there. Landoll’s Mohican Castle is the counter-image most have of Mohican Country. It is the ultimate luxury getaway but still surrounded by nature. It features accommodations and services royalty can expect and provides for quiet woodland walks, fireside conversation, golf, pool and fitness center, elegant guest rooms, and meals fit for a king and queen. Some of the other points of interest in the area include Wolf Creek/Pine Run Grist Mill, which was built in 1831 and still runs today, as well as Clear Fork Gorge, the deepest gorge in Ohio. In addition, the area boasts Ohio’s only 4 Flume Fiberglass Waterslide and stable riding through the Memorial and State Forests. Specialty shoppes abound in the Village of Loudonville. The old-fashioned service in this historic town make every shopping and dining experience memorable. Some of the favorite shoppes include Amish Oak Furniture, Native American jewelry and crafts at Creative Outlet, fine art at Copper Top Gallery, Mohican Windharps, and The Extraordinary Shoppe offering the largest selection of Red Hat items anywhere. Dine around at Books, Baubles, and Brew or Broken Rocks Café or Sojourner Café. It’s all good! As a true hotspot in Ohio tourism, Mohican and Loudonville deliver special events like no other throughout the year – even in winter! These are just some of the abundant options:

January – Mohican Winterfest featuring ice sculpting.

March – Maple Syrup Festival, one of the best around. Visit MalabarFarm.org.

April – Mohican Wildlife Weekend. This has become one of the best events in Ohio.

May – Pioneer Days at the Mill. See wolfcreekmill.org for details.

June – Mohican 100 Trail Run / Battle of the Bands & Rib Cook-Off.

July – Classic Car Show and Antique Festival gaining national notoriety as the best.

August – Fun Farm Days & Fishing Derby, plus the Mohican Blues Festival.

September – Great Mohican Indian Pow-Wow. Details are at mohicanpowwow.com.

October – Mohican Lumberjack Festival, Prairie Peddler Old West Festival, Loudonville Free Street Fair, and Fall Foliage Tour. In addition to the kitchen sink, I left out Cleo Redd Fisher Museum, Hayesville Opera House, Ohio Theater, Blackfork Inn, and many other equally deserving mentions. For complete details about Mohican Country and the Village of Loudonville, call 1-877-2-MOHICAN or see www.loudonville-mohican.com.

Mohican is back! Shouldn’t you be?
