Our juices have been adjusted, when necessary, to meet the standards we use in our winery. There is no need to add more sugar or acid. The sugar content is adjusted to approximately 22 brix on the balling scale. This should yield an alcohol potential of 11% to 12%. The acid has been adjusted so that it is between 0.6 and 0.9. Perfect acidity is 0.777. You may choose to sweeten your wine at the end before bottling, if it is too dry for you. Once again we will have juices from Ohio, Northern California, New York, and Pennsylvania. When required, the juices have been adjusted for you with sugar and acid blend for the optimal taste and body in your wine. You do not need to make any further adjustments. However, we recommend the addition of cultured yeast and pectic enzyme to your juices. We have a large supply of containers in stock, but we recommend that you bring your own clean and sanitized container for filling. All prices are per gallon only, and do not include a container.
We offer a discount for CASH or CHECK PURCHASES. No discounts for CREDIT CARD SALES. Discounts are as follows: 10 cents per gallon for purchases over 20 gallons and 20 cents per gallon for purchases over 50 gallons.
